Musée de la Mer - Biarritz's Marine Life Museum

A fascinating introduction to marine life for children and adults. The museum’s approach is fun and dynamic. Inside this Art Nouveau building you’ll find aquariums and displays with over 150 species of plants, invertebrates, fish, birds and mammals native to the Bay of Biscay. The museum recently expanded.

Musée Bonnat - Bayonne's 19th-Century Art Museum

The Bonnat Museum was built in 1891. The colonnaded building, typical of France’s Third Republic, is a forceful demonstration of the city’s ambition to assert its power through art. The museum houses one of France’s most important collections of Spanish paintings.
