Welcome to the Camping Oyam

Camping Oyam is located in Bidart, a village overlooking the ocean, between Biarritz and St Jean de Luz. Camping Oyam will charm you with its relaxed family atmosphere.
Set 1200 meters from the beaches, you will have easy access to the sea and Bidart village, whilst maintaining a peaceful and relaxed environment.

In the campsite grounds you will find sporting facilities such as Jeu de Boules known as Pétanque, a BMX track for the bravest amongst you, a swimming and paddling pool, three table tennis tables, mini golf, a beach volley ball court and four half court tennis courts.

There are various entertainments organised based on these sporting activities during the day and in the evening the Oyam Snack Bar provides dancing and karaoke. We hope that all of these will leave you with many pleasant memories.

Reception

We will be happy to greet you on your arrival at the reception. Reception is open from 8am to 9pm during July and August. It will provide for you an invaluable source of information for you to organise your holiday, both within the campsite grounds (maps of the site, entertainment program, postcards, games room, pool table, tokens for the washing machines) and for the surrounding area.

The team in charge of greeting you is there to provide you with all the information and brochures you may need and to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to enquire. Thank You.

Swimming Pool

A central part of Camping Oyam entertainment is the swimming pool. The pool is staffed by pool attendants throughout July and August. The pool is exclusively reserved for campsite residents and is there for you and your family to enjoy .

During the high season, activites are organised in the morning. There are sunbeds available around the pool to help you relax and unwind.

The Oyam Snack-bar

A place that cannot be ignored, the Oyam Snack Bar will charm you with its warm and homely atmosphere. You will be greeted there by a smiling and ready to help team and you will have the choice of either having your breakfast on the terrace or collecting your baguette and croissants to take home for a delightful first meal of the day.

A wide range of items are available to you on the menu, and these items can be either eaten at the Snack Bar or taken away.

Beach Volley, Mini Golf, Table Tennis, Mini Tennis Court, Petanque

Close to nature, outdoor activities are the main values sought by our campers. Therefore within the campsite grounds you will find facilities allowing you to play your favourite sports : beach volley ball, table tennis, four mini tennis courts, an eleven hole mini golf course as well as a large 'terrain de pètanque', which is illuminated in the evenings.

You will also be able to take part in the fun throughout the many tournaments that are organised for the pleasure of everyone.

BMX Track

Exceptional ! In the grounds of the campsite is a BMX track which has been built to allow you to challenge both your children and yourself (as well as your stamina !) on a bike using off-road tracks, in a safe environment. You will go down slopes, over hills, sometimes steep ones in a nice shady section of the campsite. Just remember one thing, your children may surprise you !
