The skin does not resist UV rays without sunscreen, I have just discovered (me, a man with short hair who is not very concerned about damaged ends after a surfing session) that hair must also receive anti-UV treatments and other care creams during this period of exposure of our hair to the elements.
Jokes aside, it is wise to prepare your hair before coming to the beach, some people take food supplements a few weeks before the vacation (I do not comment on this idea)
In any case, you can protect them at the beach, for example by using coconut oil (with UV index) or special hair sun creams, they exist.
Do not use your usual Monoï which would burn your hair because it does not provide any protection.
Rinse well with clean water after swimming to remove salt and sand.
A little restorative treatment at the end of your stay and you should keep or even enhance your hair asset.
