Surfing
Surfing is THE local sport par excellence. In fact, it arrived in France in the 1950s and the first waves were surfed in Biarritz. On the coast, 20 minutes from the campsite, you will find around ten "surf spots" for all tastes and all levels of practice.
The beaches of Saint Jean de Luz are known for being calm and sheltered from big swells, Bidart and Guéthary offer great reef breaks, while in Biarritz, the cradle of French surfing, its beach breaks are world-renowned. Get your boards.

Basque strength
This sport refers to the daily work carried out in the Basque countryside: cutting down logs with an axe, pulling stones, lifting stones, tug-of-war, etc.
Throughout the year, you can attend friendly sporting events and even test your strength.

Golf
The Basque Country is renowned for its beautiful golf courses. Some overlook the sea, others the mountains, but always in stunning surroundings.
Golf is very popular in the region for the beauty and quality of its greens. The courses are often placed, and this is the case in Anglet as in Biarritz, in magnificent locations.

Basque pelota
In the Basque Country, there is no village without a fronton, nor local festivities without a game of pelota.
There are several ways to play it, with bare hands, with the pala, or with the chistera (Cesta Punta).
