Where is Oyam campsite located?
Camping Oyam is located in department 64, in Bidart, 5km from Biarritz and 7km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the heart of Basque Country. The village centre is 900m away and the beaches of Bidart are 1200m away. The Spanish border is only about twenty kilometres away, Bidart is the ideal location for a discovery holiday.

How to get to the campsite?
You can arrive by different means of transport:
by train from Biarritz-Parme station then by taxi or bus using line 46 of the Chronoplus bus company.
by plane from Biarritz-Parma airport then by taxi or bus using lines 3 or 4 then 46 of the Chronoplus bus company.
By the A63 motorway: take exit 4 Biarritz-Bidart. After the toll, take the direction of Bidart Saint-Jean-de-Luz, drive to the 2nd roundabout (Jardiland) take the 3rd exit and follow the signs for "Camping Oyam" (blue signs) then drive 300m and turn right at the bottom of rue Berrua (very steep) to go back up to the small roundabout on the right for 200m and turn left, another 50m and you will have arrived.

What do we find there?
The campsite offers you its heated water park, the Oyam Café, the City-stadium, the pétanque ground, the children's playground and the ping-pong tables, a laundromat and good humor.

Is there a grocery store at your campsite in the Basque Country?
You'll find basic necessities right at the campsite. For a wider selection, a grocery store is located just 900 meters away in the heart of the village. The nearest supermarket is 1.5 km away.

Is the reception open all year round?
The reception is open from Monday to Saturday from January to opening and 7/7 during opening to holidaymakers. Opening hours vary depending on the period.

Are pets allowed?
Our animal friends (dogs and cats) are welcome in the rentals for €35/week, with the exception of dogs classified in categories 1 and 2. They must be microchipped, up-to-date on their vaccinations, and have their current health record. They must never be left alone in the accommodation without their owner present and must be kept on a leash at all times.

How can we book at the OYAM campsite in Bidart?
You can make your reservation directly online by clicking on the "I reserve" tab. You will then indicate your accommodation model, the dates of your stay as well as your contact details before paying the deposit by credit card. You can also book by telephone by dialing 05.59.54.91.61 or by sending an e-mail (accueil@camping-oyam.com), specifying your contact details, the accommodation model and the dates of the stay, one of the members of the reservation service will record your request before sending you the reservation contract. The latter must be returned completed, dated and signed accompanied by the payment of the deposit.

When should I pay the balance of my stay?
The balance must be paid 30 days before your arrival for any reservation in camping accommodation and on the day of your arrival for the reservation of an apartment. For any reservation made less than 30 days before arrival, the total amount of the balance will be requested. You will receive a confirmation from the campsite by e-mail or by post.

Is there a security deposit to be given?
Yes, a security deposit of €300 will be required, payable by uncashed check or via the TIPIZ app. The security deposit for renting an apartment at the Résidence Izarpean is also €300.

Is it possible to book for one night?
Reservations are possible from 2 nights outside July and August, regardless of the day of your arrival. In July and August, we take reservations from 7 nights with the possibility of arriving on Saturday or Sunday.

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments by credit card, checks, ANCV holiday vouchers, cash and bank transfer. CAF "holiday vouchers" are not accepted as a means of payment. The campsite is not VACAF approved. The campsite is not affiliated with Holiday Cheque.

From what time can we arrive?
Accommodation is available from 5:00 p.m. We advise you to go to the campsite reception upon arrival to check availability together.

What if we arrive outside office hours?
We invite you to contact us at 05.59.54.91.61 or by e-mail at accueil@camping-oyam.com, we will inform you of the procedure.

Should I bring sheets?
Blankets and pillows are provided in all accommodations. Linens, towels, and sheets are not. You can rent sheets and towels for the following price:

Sheet rental (sheets + pillowcases): €15 per bed
Rental of bathroom linen (1 bath sheet + 1 hand towel): €15 per kit (free in Premium and Luxury).

Is it possible to rent baby equipment?
We rent baby cots (without mattresses), high chairs, and baby baths for €1.50 per day per item. The complete kit is €4 per day. Reservations are recommended (free in Premium and Luxury rooms).

We have two vehicles, can we park the 2nd one on the site?
You have the possibility to park one vehicle per space. The second vehicle can be parked in the outdoor parking lot provided for this purpose.

Is it mandatory to wear the bracelet?
Wearing a bracelet is mandatory for all customers. Entrances to the site and access to the water park are thus controlled to avoid any person who is not a customer.

Is there WiFi access?
You can connect to the wireless network from your location. Access is subject to a fee; rates are displayed at reception (free for Luxury and Premium accommodations).
